Is this an emergency?

An account being actively misused, money already moved, or systems already down — email the UCC CSIRT at csirt@ucc.edu.gh and mark it URGENT.

Otherwise, use this form. It reaches the same team and gives you a Reference Number you can quote.

Report an Incident

Tell the UCC CSIRT what happened. You do not need to log in, and you do not need to be certain — a report that turns out to be nothing costs us a minute, and one you did not send can cost a great deal more.

Already filed a report? Check its status.

About you

Your staff or student number, so the CSIRT can find the right account.

Where the CSIRT replies. If your email is the account in trouble, give another one you can read.

What happened

Your best guess is fine — the CSIRT will classify it properly.

Describe what happened, what you observed, any error messages, and any actions already taken.

Attach evidence

Up to 5 files, 10 MB each. Screenshots, PDFs, text files, or the original email saved as .eml or .msg — an email with its headers tells the CSIRT far more than a screenshot of it.

Do not attach archives (.zip, .rar, .7z), and do not attach a suspected malware sample. If you have one, email csirt@ucc.edu.gh first and the CSIRT will arrange how to send it safely.
